97 Geo Metro ..driver side 'A' frame pulled away from rusted frame & cv joint separated....otherwise car is in EXCELLANT condition w/57K . Should we weld?

That will require looking at to know how extensive a repair might be. Auto body repair shops should be able to determine what it would take to repair or replace parts rusted and an estimate. If generally ok other than just this, this car should be worth the repair. You should want to know the general rust condition of other structural parts too before your decision.
A small, fuel efficient car should be a popular vehicle with it's low miles right now,
