Ford crown victoria cruise control just quit while driving?

i drive a 2003 crown Victoria 2003 police model 90k miles while driving 65 with the cruise control on on the interstate it just randomly shut off and stopped working i checked the fuses and nothing else in the car seems to stopped working my crown Victoria does not have a cruise control light so i dont know if its even coming on
