Ford Van ./ Engine Warning Light / Hissing

My 2005 Econoline Ford Van engine light came on. This was accompanied by bad acceleration and a hissing noise when I accelerated. Any ideas?

First thing to do is have the trouble codes read. A lot of major parts houses will do it for free. Post the EXACT code number back and we can help you. You may be able to look under the hood cover for a loose vacuum line to find the hissing. Codes will give us a direction to start.
