Ford Probe Tranny Problems

I have a 96 Ford probe gt...auto transmission is slipping. I wanted to know how hard it is to swap transmissions? Do i have to pull the motor...how much labor? Anyone done it before

Not terribly difficult. The Mitchell labor guide shows 5.1 hrs for the 4cyl, and 6.7 hrs for the V6. Keep in mind, the engine must be supported during trans removal and that the transmission is too heavy for one person to handle.
