Ford Focus 2001 100k+Miles I was rearended yesterday I don't know if it is related, but since then something in the front end (engine transmission radiator, something) has begun to jump or slip when I drive. This happens when the car is idle and driving. I checked the oil and that is not the issue. When driving the car feels like its slipping jumping or drops out. I started to notice it on the high way, AC was on high so I turned that off and it helped or so i thought, then it got more frequent so i slowed and it has gotten progressively worse. Even when idling or only going 20mph. I can feel it happen. The best way I can explain is to say that it feels like maybe shoving something huge, like it jumps forward a tiny bit but fast then stops abruptly, it feels like its coming from the front of the car. Is there an easy fix for this? Could it be some fluid is low? I am currently in a motel a state away from home, answers would be very much appreciated as I am 100 miles away from my mechanic!

You should really get it checked out before you go on the road. If I had to guess I would say the rear end got knocked out so far that now it's tracking incorrectly. Basically it now what to go right while driving straight and will so far until it's "jerked" back on track by the frt end... Take it in have it looked over & the alignment checked.........
