1985 Cadillac deville flashers (left blinker/turn signal) do not work on left hand side (front and back) however, the brake lights, headlights and hazards all work just fine. Any idea what could be wrong and what I can try to do to fix it?

I can't get a diagram for that but my first suspect would be the turn signal switch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

? Tough era for this to know for sure. Some FYI - same bulbs should light with flashers prove that bulbs or sockets are NOT the problem. Try that. Otherwise bet you find it's the wild junk that makes directionals work and cancel a small spring inside (70s style) may have busted or broken in some funky way to stop the show? IDK other than removing wheel and looking right at that is a minor pest requires a tool and find a snap ring plier DON'T LOSE THE DANG RING that hold the locking star wheel on! Hard to find spares if you do, T
