When you use the switch to lock your door, do you hear the door lock actuator function? What part of your seats don't work? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

no i dont hear the actuator (if the actuator was bad would i be able to manualy lock my doors? Cause i can manually lock and unlock my doors.) both driver & passenger seats completely dont work no power to either seat thats why i thought a relay was bad

When he says "manually", he means electrically using the switch, not simply moving the knob. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Chances of two or more of anything like that is that not all went bad but a common problem that effects them all. Just my two cents. Yes - some Ford lock actuators could seize up and you couldn't move them even manually! I like Ford products but that wasn't the brightest thing they did for that crap, T

Unless you use the switch, you are not testing the actuator. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

ok i am testing the actuator obviously if the doors unlock using the switch or key phob the actuator works their must not be power going to the lock side of the switch. This morning i went out and when i pushed the lock button i heard a clicking noise under the dash im asuming it is a relay

No, it doesn't mean that. The switch reverses polarity.

Just to add my 2 cents: If actuators work in one direction they are fine. As HT said they reverse polarity for up or down so I would be checking driver's controls (forget the fob) with a test light that it's doing just that - reversing polarity makes the motor/actuator go one way or the other. Switch or wires thru driver's door jam snorkel can go bad and I think driver's control can override passenger's switch such that if someone is trying to lock and driver is trying to open locks the driver's control runs the show, T

Should be an easy check and at least rule it out before passenger's controls, T

I was wondering if you heard the actuator when you went to lock your doors because they had problems with the rubber bumper on the end of the actuator stick coming off. The doors would unlock, but not lock or wouldn't do either. I must have replaced tons of those working at the dealer. It's a PITA, too. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
