I'm working on a 1989 Subaru Justy. Obd 1 system. All I'm looking for here is that a possibility if an ecu shows all obd codes know to man. that it could be the ecu is bad. Compatibility would be my first concern never mind the age. Does you scanner work on another? IMO, tons of possible problems with OBDI or better pre 1990 at least you should just find the problem or isolate it fairly easily starting with basic functions of an engine. Is this running at all or what?
