Well I took greenleaf's suggestion, I chiseled off the back of the pins. There were four pins with slide on clips.
I still needed a puller to remove the hub and destroyed all the hardware. The kit cost fifteen dollars. The other side came off without destruction.

The design is weird and was difficult to assemble.

Thanks for all your help.

Now it has a coolant leak and I have to replace the timing belt. Oh bother!

I'm glad I'm semi retired.

Glad it worked out and yes the hardware usually isn't that expensive and really should be done with a brake job anyway as if anything in it is weak it would wreck a new brake job.


Coolant leaks: Nothing to do with removing a drum but see what this trade puts up with from some customers?
