I have a 93 lincoln continental sig. series and the other day the drivers door latch the mechanism jammed well I got it unjammed easily but now every ttime u raise the outside door handle the door locks and you can not open the door from the inside at all. I know nothing much about doors some help please.

Sounds like some hardware is messed up inside the door and you'll have to look to see just what. Try to get the door open as taking off a door panel with it closed is a real pill,
