1997 Subaru Legacy 2.2l 100k Miles I just realized i didn't torque the drive plate (to the crank) on my car back on per the service manual specification. I only torqued them to 40 ft-lb as opposed to 52 ft-lb as specified. However, i did use loctite on those bolts. I already put the tranmission back on so am trying to avoid pulling it off of the motor again. Will the fact that it's not torqued to spec be a problem?

You’ll likely be ok; it’s not like this is a head gasket; plus considering that you did torque them evenly and used loctite. Now if you would have said you missed torque one; that could deform the crank and or the flexplate. Dan. Canadian "EH"
