There is a big dent on the passenger side door of car. Im not sure exactly when or where this happened. Some time in the last 4 days or so in some parking lot. I rarely go to that side so I never noticed until today. The door won't open all the way and is unusable. There is also a plastic sheet that goes over the right front tire that is bent down. Anyone have a ballpark figure of the repair costs for this? I just want some idea before I take it in for an estimate. Its a 04 chevy cavilier

I find it hard to believe thst your sustained that much damage and you did not notice. Regardless, it would be impossible to est even wth a picture.. There could be hidden damage, there's no way to determine the overall condition of car and paint.THe best I could tell you would be to call a few salvage yards for prices on a door, fender and fender well liner. Then add , depending on how much painting, i.e. ,door, fender or whole car. $200 -$400 labor plus paint and materials. The car drives fine, i have not had a need to use the right side passenger door. And I have not been driving much lately. Its not a huge dent thats all over the door, but its right over where the door opens.
