DAMN KIA Sign In

My freind has a KIA and the front and back driver side window is of track, I took off the door panels and I cant get to it to put it back on the track. She said she had called up KIA and they told here it would cost acout 500 to 600 hundred to fix. Theres some kind of tool to do it, dose anyone know if theres away around it????

I don't know KIAs worth a damn but many things like that are not just nuts and bolts but tracks with a rubber channel and may require bending to adjust. Why two windows?? A glass place would probably put them on track while you wait if door panels are off already and if special tools needed would have them,

Re: DAMN KIA Sign In

Well the reason for 2 windows is she waited to fix the front one and after a month the other one took a Sh!t. but thanks for the info.

They don't just normally come out of their tracks. This is usually a problem with people who think you have to wind up and slam doors for them to latch. People that do that in any of my own cars are rendered pedestrians at once!!

This usually happens when door is closed with window part open or open. They are more secure when closed. I have no sympathy for abusing a car like that as you can see,
