Any help on this would be great, im having a very annoying problem.Eventhough the temp gauge doesnt go over half, Iam getting false readings from my temp sensor via an onboard scanner one second its fine coolant temp around 180f then all the sudden it will jump to 401f!!!!! then back down... to 180. even with the car off i get screwy readings pleeaassee help me if you can..... i have replaced the temp sensor two times!!!!! it only has one... what could it be????? please and thank you

The problem may be in wiring or the PCM....the pcm would have to be check with an advance scanner
