Had my cam belt and water pump replaced the other day and now my alternator is not charging up the battery as supposidely there is a bolt missing. I'm assuming that the garage has not put it back on and hence they should be able to fix it at no extra charge. My car won't start and Im going to have to call the AA out to jump start it tomorrow in order to take it to the garage. Can anyone give me any help please?.

Sounds like you may be on the right track, just notify the shop of the situation, they may have their own wrecker or wrecker service in case it needs towed. They will be aware of the problem also. Talk it over with them first IMO.

The only way a bolt being left out could have led to the alternator not charging is if the belt came off. That would be very obvious. They still could have messed up the wiring or something like that.
