Catalytic Convertor

I had the convertors replaced on my 1997 Winstar (Ford). codes keep coming back to replace convertors. Car has been checked and computer erased numerous times but same codes keep coming back. The garage that changed convertors said they will change again but don't believe this is the problem. However, he said he replaces convertors with universal convertors. Is this right? Could this be the problem. Am I out money and left with another costly repair.

Go to a parts house like Autozone, Pep Boys, maybe Advance. They will read the codes for you for free. Post the EXACT CODE NUMBER back here and we can help you figure it out.
