I have a 1995 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4.9 liter(175,000 miles). I'm having problems with it bogging down and cutting off while driving. It doesnt happen everytime I drive it. I have already replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, coil and ignition module. I still have the same problem.

You will never find your problem by simply throwing parts at it. You have to systematically troubleshoot and test the system. You should probably start with scan tool and first check foer sgtored codes and then drive the car with the scanner attached so when it acts up you can analyze the sensor data to figure out what's happening.

Would you say it happens more when you are trying to pass, accelerate, or climbing a hill?

Does the condition improve on level ground?

Confirm an operational EGR valve and clear EGR passages.

Rule out engine vacuum leaks and cylinder misfires. Did you know that vacuum leaks cause misfires?

When was the last major tune-up that included ignition cables?

At the time of the tune-up were “OE” AC DELCO” ignition and tune-up parts used?

Never use “Champion or Spitfire spark plugs” on any GM vehicle.

Rule out an excessive exhaust back pressure issue due to a failing or partly clogged catalytic converter.

Click on (or copy and paste) the website below to pull any stored DTC’s. Note that 95 was the “Flip Year” and you may need a “Scan Tool” to pull codes.

Post any codes you pull so we can see them.

Caddy's of that year had a weird ground problem . Follow the main ground cable from batt -neg to where it bolts to eng just in front of starter. remove nut and stud, clean the area real good , remount stud TIGHT and reinstall ground wire and nut TIGHT, finally check connection at batt (clean and tight) . betcha this will fix you up.
