Car steamed and I think it might be from this hose?

Hello, I was driving the other day and my car got very close to overheating or maybe it did. A big puff of steam came from the engine and when I looked under the hood I saw that a hose was unattached and under my engine there was a trail of water. But I don't know what the name of the hose is??? Here's two pictures, one with it sorta attached and one with it not attached. It's the think hose under the other thick hose on the right.

Without being able to see where the other end attaches, I would say it's your lower radiator hose....... If it goes to the bottom of the rad, then that's if for sure.........
