Car Stall when run for 30min and come to a stop light	Sign In

My 02 Nissan Altima 2.5SL has some problem. If I drive the car for say 30miles on a free way then come to a stop after exiting the freeway it stall n start jerking. If I stop the car then restart, it will idle n move slowly no matter how much gas I supply but will suddenly kick in n start moving.

It has 115642 millage any help will be appreciated.

Check your inertia switch, or your speed limiter switch. The "speed limiter" won't allow the engine to over rev when in neutral. My terminology might be wrong on the "speed limiter", so call a shop to verify.

You need to check your fuel pressure. Rig up a gauge so it can be seen while driving so you can see it as the problem occurs and watch for the pressure to drop.
