I noticed that some times my RPM need increases for no particular reason. I could be driving (or using cruise control) and for some reason the needle jumps up to about 4000 rpms. I usually tap the break to get it to stop (decrease). I also noticed that my car chugs a little some times when I pull off (from a stop sign, red light). Does any one know whats going on and may be a price for the repair? Check engine light on? Any trouble codes stored in the engine controller? Just for your information: 2.0L 4 banger.
