On the cap and rotor, the ignition coil button, if it is flat and not elongated isnt it true that it wont make a connection therefor not let the car start? If I'm right on this then I need a new cap! Guess Ill have to change the plugs and wires too since Im sure alot of gas in them most likely fouled them. Any imput would help. I can tell you I wont be going to auto zone anymore-this cap is only a few months old, everytime I get electrical from auto zone t never lasts like it should....Thanks for the help guys-it aint easy bein female!!! lol steve01832 Veteran Nov 8, 2006, 3:20 AM Post #2 of 4 (1553 views) Re: Cap and Rotor---need advice Sign In Do you have spark at the cap and no spark at the plugs? If yes, replace cap, rotor, and wires. What kind of vehicle is this?
