Buick Skylark Crankshaft Position Sensor

So i have a 1993 Buick Skylark v6 3.3l and i am not getting any spark. so i changed out the ignition control module and the coil packs and am still getting no spark. Which leads me to believe its the CPS so how do i go about replacing the sensor. thanks

That Crank Sensor requires a $600 tool to install so instead of throwing parts at it why don't you spend $5 for a noid light and check for injector pulse. If you have injector pulse, you can eliminate the crank sensor.

The crank sensor is mounted just above and a little to the side of the harmonic balancer. Sounds like you are on the right track.

sorry buddy but i already did check for fuel injector pulse and i am not getting ANY so calm down.

You should take his posts for what they are..... The guy is trying to help you & save you some $$$$$$.
The tool you are inquiring about was/is made by Kent Moore I believe & it's sole purpose in life was to set the air gap on the crank sensor because it's a blind fit & it's around $600. Recently some companys started making sensors with no setting that bolt on. Sounds like you got lucky & got one of those because there are still some adjustable ones out there.
The man has a lot of knowledge, if ya work with him, he'll help ya get your ride going.... If you want to argue with him......well...........
