I have a 1987 Chevy Blazer I use for plowing. As I was plowing today I noticed my brakes getting lower to the floor each time I used them. I checked under the truck and didn't see any leaks or brake fluid on the tires. Checked the brake fluid under the hood, that was full. If I use the brakes alot they'll go to the floor but will stop the truck. If I don't use them as much, the pedal seems to get a little harder. When I press on the pedal, I hear some kind of an air noise. Any ideas?

I believe you either have air in the lines or your master cylinder is going bad. To check if you have air in the lines you will need yourself and another person. Have the person push the brake pedal to the floor and do not release the pedal. Taking a small box or open end wrench, loosen the bleeder screw on the caliper. It should have a rubber cap on it and the screw is either 1/4" or 5/16". If a solid steam of fluid comes out of the top of the screw, you are ok "no air present" If you hear a popping sound or anything but a steady stream comes out of the top of the screw, you have air in the lines. This must be done on all four wheels. Do them one at a time and add break fluid to the master cylinder after each wheel is done to insure you keep fluid in the master cylinder. Do not let the person holding the brake pedal down release it until you re-tighten the bleeder screw or you will suck air into the lines. If you have a steady stream of fluid from each wheel, it's probably in need of a new master cylinder.

I have never ran out of brake fluid so I know there isn't air in the lines. I can pump the brakes and get a somewhat hard pedal, it doesn't go all the way to the floor. If I keep stepping on the brakes the pedal goes down further each time. As I'm pumping the brakes I hear like air, or I'm pushing out air somewhere around the brake pedal under the dash.

My brake fluid stay's full when I pump the brakes, I'm not leaking brake fluid anywhere. Is it the master cylinder or the power booster for the master cylinder that is going bad?

One way to isolate it is to disconnect the brake lines from master cylinder, plug the ports tightly and press the brake pedal. If pedal still drops, master cylinder is bad. If it does not drop, do you have ABS on the truck? If yes, look at the ABS accumulator.
