Brake light came on, no brakes! I found that one of the brake lines had a hole in it. Is it possible to cut the brake line and add a new line in this spot. If so what is the best way to do this. The line needs to be one piece!!! Have it fixed a a shop if need be. It does need to be at a spot where you can get the flaring tool in there. This is safe and a legal repair. Consider the cost of the tools vs just paying to get this done. Brake line and the little parts are dirt cheap - the tools will vary in cost by quality you want. Metal brake line is made to be bent.
