How do your brakes act when your master cylinder goes out ?
Do you have any brakes at all or are they just worse than usual ?

If the master cylinder fails, the pedal will go straight to the floor and you will not have any brakes at all. SOmetimes if you pump the brakes, the brakes come back for about 1 stop.
