On my 94 plymouth acclaim the brake pedal is fairly hard to push down & when you release it the brakes don't instantly release it takes a couple of seconds for them to release.
All the vacuum lines appear to be in good condition so i'm thinking its a bad power brake boost. Does this sound accurate?

? The "hard to push" is very consistant with the vacuum brake booster itself or a vacuum source problem. The slow to release is a new one to me?? It still points to the booster being the problem,
