Hi, I have replaced 3 batteries on my 2001 Chevy Blazer 4X4 V6 Vortec and I also replaced the alternator three days ago. I went out to start the car last night and the battery was dead again. It appears that when I close the doors, after a few seconds the blue light that indicated the bright lights are on comes on the dash. I have checked and there are no other lights on, so I can't figure out what is causing the batteries to die. Just wanted to know if you have ever heard of this problem. Thanks so much! Vicki

if that light comes on after the vehicle is shut off and stays on,its causing an electrical drain on the battery... you need to take it in to have the electrical draw /drain tested and repaired.....
