Most space saver "donut" spares will behave but are for temporary use. Just changing a wheel can cause a shift in debris/rust/corrosion between rotor and hub which throws the trueness out of whack and the brakes would like a true rotor or anti-rattle clips, caliper pins and contact areas may not cope with that. Spin the wheel and look for trueness. Take the rotor off and inspect the brake parts too for wear, cracks in pad lining etc. That may show the problem.
