Anti lock brakes pulsatiing every time I put on brakes Sign In

Every time I apply brakes to stop normally anti lock brakes comes on. No lights or anything on. Have already replaced rotors and pads. Sorry about that. It is a 2005 chevy equinox ls awd. The problem was happening before I replaced the rotors and pads

Year, make and model please - the crystal ball is out to get cleanedWink

If this just happened exactly with new brakes go back and make sure nothing was disturbed at the wheels? What else can anyone say for now?

Re:05 Chev Equinox - Anti lock brakes pulsatiing every time I put on brakes Sign In

OK: Yes, this sounds like bad info from wheel speed sensors or just one. Just a guess to try first before code readings needed. Go back and air blow dust, debris, rusty debris perhaps out. WEAR MASK - NOT NICE DUST IN THERE. Could be that the worn brakes replaced ended with making a mess.

AWD: Needs all tires to be even and the same or an confuse them. Not sure how much that could bother ABS but way off could.

Pulling fuse for just ABS should default system to regular braking action but might lose codes so rock and hard place as codes may be needed to not waste bucks. Not sure there are codes as it may think it's doing the right thing?

If ABS light is on now it should default to regular braking but probably isn't as it thinks (guess) it's sending proper signal and providing proper actions for what it is told.

I'd go back and look as this is so close to the brake work.

Other - folks just push back pistons to accommodate new pads and rotors and with ABS that really could and does in cases send dirty brake fluid back thru sensitive stuff but would think that would trigger the light on dash?
