2000 chevy blazer
Somebody Help please with car info...I drove my car and everything was fine but a few start up problems like it don't want to turn over( start up) ...it starts upI turn it off then in like 2hrs later no start up battery goes out. When I try to drive it it won't start up it will try too then everything goes dead. I just brought a new battery thought that was it but it makes a click sound.  I need my car for the hoildays...lol

well when you turn the key and all you hear is clicking....thats classic dead/weak battery. if the engine is turning but not running then you have a larger area to trouble shoot.
have your battery load tested and have your alternator bench tested. (most places will test your alternator for free)

Also check inside the battery cable covers. GM's are bad about corroding inside the cable where you can't see it.
Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

Clean battery terminals and battery post on the starter solenoid. Dmac has hit the nail on the head with the clicking, thats a power issue. If you get the car turning over but takes a while, could be fuel or spark. Whining or grinding sound, it the drive in your starter not engaging due to worn teeth, and nothing is solenoid or power issue. Try that!

Now no light or battery power is on when I put the key in the switch...nothing comes on no power, nothing.

It's still consistant with messed up battery cable ends - probably at the battery end. Just leave the door open (no light on when no power) and jiggle the cables and bet you'll look over and see the lights come on to prove it to you.
It's common. Gotta take them apart and really look, brush them up, replace as whole cables or get new high quality cable ends that really splice in well if needed - not just the 99 cent temp ones if this is the trouble at all which I'd bet it is,

I did tried that and the lights are working now...but now a clicking sound but won't start...Thanks for that info.

You gotta have it all at once. Good fully charged battery and good connections at cables - sometimes the other end from the battery,
