Air Ride Sign In

97 Town Car- it fell down. Brother's car, I have not looked at it yet. Usual problems to look for? Was there not a fix for this using Tempo suspension parts and shedding the airbag? Would rather have original system back though. Thanks Bill

Re: Air Ride Sign In

Air springs themselves could be the problem. Is pump continually trying to fill them up? It should also have a switch in the trunk that may have been left that shuts the "automatic" level system off as for when servcing - check that it's on and maybe get lucky with just that for now.

Hmmm - I think you can add air like to a tire but to the pump which of course is well hidden (not certain if those do that or not - some do) - driver's side left toward headlights under a tank for washer fluid tank or something there - I forget now,

T- So far the car falls down overnight. Morning start-up will raise it in 2-3 minuets then good all day. So it takes some time he tells me. Leak someplace?

Ok: Get out the squirt bottle and soapy water - not unlike checking tires for leaks - no kidding. Air bags might be all cracked and leaking or anywhere in lines along the way. Bet is rubber parts fail first,

A lift sure would be nice right about now. I have one but have not moved it to my place yet. It' in the dry for now & is ready when I am. Thanks. Will crawl under & squirt it down!
