AC Not Working Lights In Car Not Working Sign In

My ac only blows out hot air so I guess it's not working, and the inside lights aren't coming on.

Has your AC ever worked since you owned the car? If it has you just need to recharge the freon if its just blowing hot air

more then likely a popped fuse.

do you hear the A/C compressor kick on when you turn on the AC

There's really no such thing as JUST a recharge. Having low refrigerant means a leak and that can be major. Recharging leaky systems leads to compressor failure.
