what is an abs speed sensor and whats it do we replaced it and the speedometer still dont work ????? was that the rite sensor and where would the speedometer sensor be located at its a 4x4 s10 blazer 1994 and help thanxs

abs speed sensors........pretty much do what their name implies. they are sensors for the ABS that monitor wheel speed at each wheel to tell the ABS controller weather or not to apply the brakes or release them to control brake lock up.
you need the vehicle speed sensor which is usally located somewhere on the transmission
