Re: ABS Sign In

GM and anti- lock don't mix. Bleeding order will be important and look around for bleeders that aren't at the wheels. Pulling the fuse is supposed to make brakes behave as non anti-lock brakes but these systems stink, fail and cause accidents - proven to me, friends and family but GM won't own up to it. Put fuse back in as I don't think pulling it with light on will help and is supposed to default to regular brakes when that happens.

You did bench bleed the new master didn't you? If not go back to that. Light may never go out but you should be able to have regular brakes and brake feel. Watch out for rusted lines and debris/rust at sensors and star wheels.

Re: ABS Sign In

Glad you got thru the ABS situation. The "forum thing" here is really just a help line to real people asking for hands on help but with the guessing of our not being there. Ideas are always welcome. I read so many damn posts I go blind and have to just stop reading them all as I just lose it.

This format is like some others out there and is great as you can scroll thru what has already been noted or tried along the way. Note the times and dates and you can get an idea as to whether it's worth continued ideas or not.

You can click on someones name and see when they signed up and last logged on and other info about the person. You'll see a spot for private messages on that page and folks can choose to enable that or not. Many just choose to be called "guest" which doesn't help much in finding them later.

This site is free to use and sponsors pick up the expenses with chances of selling products or just getting their name out. There are several moderators who can change or delete posts that are not appropriate for this forum. Also folks sneak in ads for their own interests which is generally not allowed. Nobody wants foul language or abuse here as it should be family friendly. The web has all it needs for other interests than this site.

Know that anything on this forum is searchable. The Private Message system is not and others can't and won't be able to see what you said on those.

Enjoy the site. Ask or help where you want,

T
