As I'm sure you know, many many things can cause a vehicle to stall. You didnt mention if the check engine light is/comes on or not. But either way,I would start by having the computer scanned for any trouble codes. Maybe there will be something to go on there. When it stalls and you say "restarts easily"..i assume it restarts right away after the stall. Does it continue to stall or is it a random event? How often does it occur? What speed? After engine warms?..Only after cold start? Doesnt matter? More info you provide the better. I assume you cannot determine if it is a loss of fuel or spark since it restarts right away. A few things come to mind but it can get costly just throwing parts at it. Crankshaft position sensor Camshaft position sensor Ignition module Ignition switch Wiring and/or connector problems... ETC.. See if you can provide more info.. so one of us can assist you more Jim

the stalling (actually quits) has occured randomly. the last time we were moving down the road at 55 mph. it has happened 5 times this month and 2 times in one day and 3 times the next. when it quits it starts right back up and the next time was within 15 minutes of the last on both days that were about 3 weeks aprt. It was taken to our local mechanic and there are no codes and the check engine light does not come on. engine is warm when it does it. he put a fuel pressure guage on it and ran it for a couple of hours and it didnt lose pressure but didnt quit either. also my daughter was driving and she does not remember if the speedometer remained working. Thanks for your help.
