'99 Plymouth Neon Sign In

Has sat outside all winter in MN. Started it a few times, but not at all since Jan. Of course battery is dead. If I get a jump dare I drive it 2 1/2 miles to fixit shop or take no chances and have it towed?

I would have it towed or at least change the oil before you drive it that short distace you mention.

I'd charge the battery with a charger such that it can start without a jump. If not replace that battery or tow. Battery could be DOA if left dead in the cold and froze/cracked. Just a jump may allow alternator to work too hard and take it out.

2+1/2 miles.......... Your call. If it runs ok on its own and do check that brakes work ok after sitting you might be fine for the short run,
