I never had any trouble with heater before, but the blower stopped working the other night. Then it started working again. Same thing happaned this morning. It wasn't working when I first got into the car, but then it kicked on during the commute. I tried to replace as many fuses as possible. Not sure if that is the issue. The motor isn't shot-it blows fine when it is actually on.

If you catch it NOT working and tapping on body of motor makes it run bad motor is likely. It may not make it run so that test is inconclusive but worth a try, T

Yes, a large screwdriver handle is ideal for that test. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

When the blower stops is the driver's information center (DIC) working? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
