I was just trying to find some help and see how screwed I am. I drive a 99 Ford Taurus and one day i noticed a leak. Its brown and is leaking from the passengers side. It wont hold anti freeze. I am hoping its not a head gasket but I really dont know much so advice would be awesome!

Well the 1st step would be to determine what the fluid is.....Sounds like what use to be antifreeze. If that's the case then you need to find out where the leak is coming from so you can repair it......

Look in your coolant reservoir, if it's brown & sludgy, this is probably the 1st of many failures.....If you let the coolant get that bad it starts eating everything up from the inside out.....Once you fix the leak you will need get all that old junk out and that is no easy task. It will take multiple flushes and it never will get it all out.........
