What is the average cost of getting a valve job done on this vehicle. Is there any other hidden costs that may sneek into the picture before this job is finished

There are always hidden costs in a job like that because you have no idea of the condition of the head and just how much machine work it's going to require. I'd say your probably going to be at least $1000 with the door wide open.
