how do I change the battery and serpitine belt? woman trying to cut costs

Took out the other two posts - one is enough and yes you may have to wait more than 7 minutes for someone to come by!

Both battery and the belt shoud be DIY friendly if you have some tools. Best get a "memory" saver for the battery replacement which just plugs in a power port with a 9v household battery while you replace the car's battery.

We can look for belt routing info which should be on a decal underhood anyway. Will need to know what engine and if it has A/C or not from factory. Don't care if it works or not just need to know,

Let me expand on what Tom is saying; replacing these items is like tying up your shoelaces. Almost anyone can do it but trying to tell someone how (especially in text over the internet) is just about impossible. I’ve had apprentices need me to point to the bolts that need undoing, as I hand them the wrenches. Just like teaching my kids to tie their shoes; you have to be there to show them.
