i hope someone can help!!!
i have a 1997 mitsubishi galant....yesterday service engine light came on. when i put the car into drive or reverse the idle drops causing me to stall unless i keep my foot on the gas. i changed the cap/ rotor plugs wires. the car has the same power she has always had. i think it might be some kind of sensor but wanted to field someone elses opinion

Get the code read for free at AutoZone and others. Quite likely an idle speed motor or the connections and wiring to it,
