97 honda accord 2.2 Vtech solenoid issue Sign In

I just purchased a 97 Honda accord with a 2.2 4 cylinder engine. Their was a trouble code for the Vtech soloniod, When I went to troubleshoot what was wrong i discovered the oil pressure switch was not connected to the vtech, unfortunately I have been unable to find any disconnected connectors around it.

Where should I look to find the missing wire?

Are you sure someone didn't do an engine swap with the wrong engine that didn't have that switch?

There is a number stamped on the engine.

F22B1 is a VTEC engine
F22B2 is a non VTEC engine

I checked the engine and it has vtech, and I also checked the car vin and that is the type of motor it is suppose to have.

So if I am understanding this it should have the wire that goes to the oil pressure sensor on the vtech solenoid hidden somewhere in the engine compartment, correct?

I think you have the wrong engine here. I researched the wiring diagram for your car and there is nothing in that system/circuit for a VTEC oil pressure switch.
