My friends truck has oil in the air box.., I'm sure it's blowby because the engine has 209,000miles on it but, he likes the truck and it still runs good.
Any any ideas on how to keep the oil out of the air box?
I read that someone made a little catch can and just ran the PCV line into it and that fixed his problem( i know this isn't the rite way to fix it but he don't have much money to spend on it).
And no CEL is on.., the truck is perfect besides that.

Thanks
- Scotty

Try replacing the PCV and cleaning the oil and see if it returns.

Ok I told him to try the PCV first.
It's really bad though, I mean it's got oil (about 1qt if i had to guess) all over everything.
I do really hope the PCV valve does fix it for him though.

Thanks Zmame!
