I was driving on the highway going possibly 70mph max and my car breaks down. There was smoke coming out of the hood and I had to get it towed back home. My oil light had been going on for the past week or two and I was actually planning on getting an oil change that very day. SO.... is my engine done? and if so how much for a new one with labor?

Your oil light has been going on for a week and you were going to get around to fixing it? Let me explain just what that light is put there for. It means emergency, shut the engine off immediately. It looks like not you have to get around to replacing the engine now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
