Hey Guys, My 96' Ford Probe has been having some trouble latley that I've been trying to fix for the past week. After letting the car sit for about an hour it has a lot of trouble starting (ESPECIALLY in the morning when there is a lot of moisture in the air), you have to crank it while stomping on the peddle. When the car does run, it runs REALLY rough, and when idling the whole car rumbles and the RPMs fluxuate between 0 and 1. The car also runs really hot while driving, the needle is almost always all the way up. Also I discovered the lines to the heater core have been cut and capped off by the previous owner (maybe because the heater core leaks?). One error code comes up: P0443 - Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Valve Circuit - (Could this be the issue? Also what exactly is this?) Here are a list of things I've replaced in the car in attempt to fix this issue: Mass Air Flow Sensor - (Came up on code reader) Starter Fuel Pressure Regulator Cooling Temperature Sensor - (Came up on code reader) Thermastat Other things replaced in response to other issues: Distributor/Electronic Iginition Battery Spark Plugs Ignition Wires and Plugs

The first thing you need to address is the overheating problem it may be the root cause of many of your problems . Start with a compression test ,While you have the plugs out put a radiator pressure tester on it ,let set about 30 min crank over eng ,look for water vapor being blown out spark plug holes . If yes ,most likely a blown head gasket/warped head. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
