i have a 96 Chevrolet Cavalier with 2.2 engine, 165K miles, automatic transmission. i was driving down the highway getting up to speed and at around 45 mph i lost engine power. i pulled to the side of the road and the engine was struggling to stay running but did for about 2 minutes after the problem happened. i took it to a mechanic shop they ran some tests and determined the coil pack had gone, and i was onlt getting spark from piston #3. i replaced both coil packs, wires, and plugs. i am now getting spark to all pistons but engine will not start. had the car hooked back up to the computer and it read the engine at 90F and it was about 30F, so i replaced the coolant temp sensor. still would not start. i had a friend look at it and he got it to run but the gas pedal has to be fully pressed down, but it only runs for about 3 to 5 seconds and its really struggling to stay running. there are still 2 other codes showing up on the computer, P0121(something to do with the throttle sensor), and P1629(something to do with the theft sensor/fuel enabler). if anyone has any suggestions i am all ears!!!! and thanks for taking the time to help out!

If it runs with the throttle 'floored', that suggests that it is overfueling. If you pull the plugs, you'll probably find that they are 'fouled' with fuel. Excessive fuel pressure? (fuel pressure regulator?) (MAP sensor?)
