any one know how to check what could possibly be wrong? I have a 95 gmc sierra 6.5L turbo diesel that is not getting fuel. I replaced the fuel pump last week it seemed alright for a few days.last night it just died while i was driving. I sprayed starting fluid in the air cleaner duct,it started, ran for awhile and died again.needless to say thats how i made it home.today it wont start havent tried the starting fluid yet.it seems like its not getting fuel.any ideas. Thanks Darren

Fuel filter in diesels in particular will separate water from fuel and should and could be stopped up with water. Don't know GM diesels well - does this fuel filter have a drain cock on it? Some used to on just a few that came my way. If you haven't replaced the filter I would and they may be tough to start just from doing that....... T
