95 Grand Prix 3.1 CTS location

I can't seem to find the Coolant Temp sensor on my 95 Grand Prix. I have a clymer manual, but it just says it is adjacent to the Ignition control module. Is the sensor under the ICM?

By the name "Coolant Temerature Sensor" it should be located on the Thermostat housing or right near it. Link below may help,

On the 3.1L it is not on or directly adjacent to the Thermostat housing. It seems that it is pretty straight forward on the 3.4L. But The 3.1 comprises 92% of the Grand Prix's sold.
Any other ideas?

Holy crap! Even a full diagram makes it look obscure. If you have a new one match it up looking in that area. That showed for a 94 and hope 95 is similar??

HAHAHAH yeah that is the diagram I found. Either I'm an idiot (and I haven't ruled that out), I'm blind, or 94 is different.

According to Fig 20. It is in a different spot. I hope the new diagram will help. I'll find out when I get home.

ShopKey5 says the sensor is on the back of the engine. The ICM is also mounted back there. If I remember right the sensor is on the head next to the ICM.
