I have a 95 Grand Am with the quad 4 engine.It idles good but the gas pedal feels jerky, the engine light comes on and stays on after 7 seconds, and gets lousy fuel mileage.The code said that the throttle position sensor was at fault. I have replaced several without improvement. Any suggestions?

Take a hard look at the wiring and connections to that TPS and connections of anything that looks suspicious,
