95 Dodge Dakota Overheating

I have a 95 dodge dakota v8. it has an overheat problem. i have changed the radiator, thermastat, clutch fan. it still is going above the 3/4 temp gauge line when climbing hills. otherwise it is normal. before it would overheat all the time but the normal driving seems solved. what could be causing it to get how when climbing hills. The air conditioner no longer works but i do not think that would have anything as i do not turn on the air. can anyone give me a suggestion. Going broke replacing parts.

You've about covered it as for parts. A/C shouldn't matter with this.
Make sure heater is unclogged as sometimes heater core is used as part of the by-pass system to maintain uniform engine temp. Be sure all air is out.
It may have a head/intake gasket problem putting combustion gasses in to cooling system stopping the show. Another maybe is if this uses a crossover exhaust (I doubt that in 95) then essentially only one exhause manifold is being used just for quick engine warm up and is an overlead of heat if not restored to using both fairly quickly. Do you see a device on probably passenger's exhause manifold that works like a choke (unseen) on that side??
